DeKalb County CASA

Formed in 1990, DeKalb County CASA program is a 501(c)3 organization operated by the Child Advocate Network, Inc., which collaborates with the local courts and DFCS on a variety of projects in addition to CASA. From its founding in 1990 until 1997, DeKalb County's CASA program operated part-time, serving as a MSW internship practicum placement for DeKalb Juvenile Court. In 1997, the program became a full-time, independent program and served 159 abused and neglected children last year with 81 CASA volunteers.

DeKalb County CASA serves the communities of Atlanta, Avondale Estates, Chamblee, Clarkston, Decatur, Doraville, Lithonia, Pine Lake, Tucker and Stone Mountain.

DeKalb County CASA participates in the Metro Collaborative training sessions. To inquire about available space in the next training, please contact DeKalb County CASA directly.
