With her Sociology degree from Kennesaw State University in hand, Robin Ely joined the Juvenile Court of Cobb County CASA Program in 2006 after interning and clerking at the Court's Citizen Review Panel Program.
As a Volunteer Coordinator, Robin is well-respected among the CASA volunteers, Court and community stakeholders. (The Court recently named Robin Employee of the Week!) She works hard to ensure the program and CASA volunteers remain focused on the children served.
Robin is also deeply involved with the screening and pre-service CASA volunteer training, co-facilitating or participating in every session. Well versed in child deprivation issues, her expertise rivals that of many child advocate attorneys. Due in no small part to Robin's determination and high standards, Cobb County children with CASA volunteers have effective advocates until permanency is achieved.
