Become a CASA Volunteer

Follow these simple steps to volunteer with CASA.

1. Download and review our brochure for more general information about Metro Atlanta CASA.

2. Plan to attend an Orientation Session which will give you information about how you can help as a CASA volunteer. Orientations take place at various locations around the metro area for your convenience. You may attend any orientation regardless of where you reside, work or choose to volunteer. (For information about other CASA programs in Georgia, please visit http://www.gacasa.org/program_directory.php or call call 404-874-2888.)

3. Complete background checks and participate in a personal interview. These include national, state and local criminal, sex offender and DFCS background checks (this will all be explained in more detail once you begin the process to volunteer).

4. Begin and complete the comprehensive CASA training for the Metro Atlanta CASA program of your choice. An overview of what to expect at CASA training will be presented in the orientation.

5. Be assigned to a child or sibling group's case and begin making a real difference in a child's life right here in metro Atlanta...
